How AdjusterPro's License Tracker Works for insurance teams

If you’re looking at AdjusterPro License Tracker, you probably have a pretty straightforward question:

What would this actually add to the way my team manages licensing today?

Maybe you’re still piecing information together across spreadsheets and separate systems. Or maybe you already use license tracking software and want to know whether AdjusterPro would give you anything you don’t have now.

Either way, the questions your team needs to answer remain the same:

  • Who is in good standing?
  • Which states need attention?
  • What’s coming up for renewal?
  • What is the status of each person’s continuing education (CE)?
  • Are Florida adjuster appointments current?
  • And once you find an issue, how quickly can you identify and assign next steps?

Eight of the country’s top 10 insurance carriers train with AdjusterPro. Working with large insurance organizations has given our team a close look at how complex license management can become as workforces grow.

We built License Tracker to make that work easier to see, manage, and act on.

AdjusterPro License Tracker gives licensing teams a clearer view of license status across the workforce. From the dashboard, managers can see where issues are showing up, dive into a state or employee record, review available CE information, and check Florida appointment status.

Here’s what that looks like in practice.

Table of Contents

What Can You See in the License Tracker Dashboard?

The main dashboard shows you where your workforce stands and where you may need to look closer.

You can see employees with licensing issues, employees in good standing, your overall compliance percentage, and licensing status by state. You can also move from the full organization view into an individual employee’s record.

The State Readiness Map makes that easier to see at a glance.

The map adds color-coded statuses to show where licenses are active, expiring, or need attention. You can click a state to see the people behind those statuses and drill into any license that needs closer review.

Managers can see the status of all their adjusters state licenses

During a product walkthrough, Oklahoma showed up red because one employee had an expired license. A licensing manager could click Oklahoma, and a side popup would show the employees connected to that state, and the license statuses, so that you can identify and click on the appropriate adjusters.

So instead of opening records one by one and asking:

“Does anyone have a problem in Oklahoma?”

you can start with:

“Oklahoma needs attention. Who is it?”

You can start with the big picture, find the issue, and get to the person behind it.

What Can You Do When License Tracker Finds Something That Needs Attention?

Finding an issue is only useful if you can quickly see who needs to act and what needs to happen next.

For example, say 20 employees on your team have CE coming due.

License Tracker can help you see who needs attention and how much progress they have made. For someone taking CE through AdjusterPro, you might see that they have completed 19 of 24 required hours.

From there, you can filter for the employees who need attention, select the appropriate people, and send reminders. You can also message several employees at once instead of following up with each person separately.

If an employee needs CE that is available through AdjusterPro, you can assign that coursework through the platform. Because License Tracker and AdjusterPro’s education tools are part of the same platform, you do not have to move into a separate training system to assign that AdjusterPro CE.

So the process does not have to start with checking 20 records and sending 20 separate emails.

License Tracker also supports expiration and renewal reminders. Organizations can control certain notification settings, including when those reminders go out.

The goal is to shorten the distance between seeing an issue and doing something about it.

How Does License Tracker Get Its Licensing and CE Information?

License Tracker brings licensing and CE information together, but the data does not all come from the same place.

Where Does the Licensing Information Come From?

It starts with your adjusters’ National Producer Numbers, or NPNs.

When you add an NPN, License Tracker pulls the licensing information NIPR has for that person. After that first pull, AdjusterPro receives daily updates from NIPR.

How does that make your life easier? Say you’re responsible for 100 adjusters.

Depending on your current process, checking license status could mean looking people up in NIPR, comparing records across systems, or moving between different tools to confirm what you need.

License Tracker brings the available NIPR data into one view. That gives your team one place to see license status and spot who may need attention at a glance.

One beta customer described the difference as no longer needing “five, six, seven, 10 tabs open” to find the information they needed.

You can spend less time looking for the information and more time acting on it.

Where Does the CE Information Come From?

Today, the CE information shown in License Tracker reflects the CE completed through AdjusterPro.

Because License Tracker is part of the same platform as AdjusterPro’s education tools, managers can see that CE progress alongside the licensing information they are already monitoring.

If an employee needs CE that is available through AdjusterPro, the manager can also assign that coursework through the platform.

How Does License Tracker Help With Florida Appointment Visibility?

In Florida, an active adjuster license is only part of what you need to check. You also need to know whether that adjuster is properly appointed.

Florida adjuster appointment information is not reported through NIPR. AdjusterPro pulls that information separately from Florida and brings it into License Tracker.

That means you can answer two different questions:

Is this adjuster licensed in Florida?

Are they properly appointed?

In fact, during beta testing, one organization used License Tracker and found that they had employees who were missing Florida appointments. That information had not been visible in the system they were using to track licensing before License Tracker.

That was an urgent catch: missing an appointment requirement can create compliance problems and added costs, so finding that gap gave the licensing team a chance to address it quickly.

For example, in 2024, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation found 13 cases where Heritage Property & Casualty used adjusters who were not properly appointed or used emergency adjusters before the proper license was issued. Those appointment issues were among several violations that led to a $1 million administrative fine, plus $10,000 in costs.

No matter how you track licenses today, make sure your process accounts for Florida appointments. That information does not come through NIPR, so it can be easy to overlook if you are not checking for it separately.

How Quickly Can You Get Started With License Tracker?

Getting started does not require a long implementation process.

To set up your workforce, AdjusterPro needs your employees’ names, email addresses, and NPNs. Once that information is received, your organization can be connected and up and running the same day. The setup process only takes about 8 minutes.

The platform is also designed to be easy to navigate without extensive training, and the AdjusterPro team provides onboarding and implementation support along the way.
