How much does AdjusterPro's license tracker cost for insurance teams?

How much should your organization expect to pay for License Tracker? And how do you know if it’s worth the investment? The subscription price depends on how many people you need to track, and whether the cost makes sense compared to the process you’re using today.

Quick Answer: AdjusterPro’s License Tracker currently costs $4 to $6 per tracked user per month, depending on the size of your workforce. There is currently no separate setup fee. Licensing and CE courses, state fees, applications, renewals, and other services are separate expenses.

Since 2005, AdjusterPro has helped over 100,000 insurance professionals with licensing and continuing education. While we offer the License Tracker, we know not every organization needs paid tracking software. If your current process works well, you may not need to change it.

In this article, we’ll break down exactly what License Tracker costs, what’s included, what you may pay for separately, and how to decide whether it’s the right investment for your team.

What Does AdjusterPro’s License Tracker Cost?

AdjusterPro’s License Tracker costs between $4 and $6 per tracked user per month, depending on how many users you track overall.

(A tracked user is someone whose licensing and compliance information your organization monitors through License Tracker.)

Current pricing is:

Tracked UsersCost Per User Per Month12-Month Equivalent
1 to 200$6$72 per user
201 to 1,000$5$60 per user
1,001+$4$48 per user

The monthly subscription is calculated by multiplying the number of tracked users by the applicable per-user rate. Your proposal confirms your final billing and contract terms.

For example, an organization tracking 250 users would fall into the $5 tier:

250 × $5 × 12 months = $15,000 per year.

(That figure covers the License Tracker subscription only.)

Does AdjusterPro’s License Tracker Include Discounts?

License Tracker pricing is based on the number of tracked users in your organization. As that number increases, the per-user monthly rate decreases.

Licensing and CE are priced separately from License Tracker. Those products use volume discounts based on annual qualifying course volume.

Organizations that add License Tracker can also receive an additional 5% off the applicable licensing and CE discount tier, up to a maximum 40% discount.

So your overall AdjusterPro investment may include two separate calculations:

  1. Your License Tracker subscription based on tracked users.
  2. Any licensing or CE purchases based on the courses and programs your organization needs.

What Is Included in AdjusterPro’s License Tracker Price?

The License Tracker subscription gives your team a centralized way to monitor licensing and compliance information across your workforce.

License Tracker provides visibility into areas such as:

  • Licensing status
  • NIPR-based licensing information
  • CE progress for courses completed through AdjusterPro
  • Appointments
  • Individual adjuster information
  • Team-level licensing status
  • State readiness
  • Alerts and notifications

The goal is to reduce the amount of routine manual checking required to maintain a clear picture of your workforce’s licensing status.

For example, rather than relying on separate NIPR lookups and internal spreadsheets for routine license monitoring, your team can view that licensing information in one centralized place.

AdjusterPro also does not currently charge a separate setup fee for License Tracker.

What Additional Costs Could You Have Beyond AdjusterPro’s License Tracker?

Your License Tracker subscription does not include every expense involved in licensing and maintaining your workforce.

Depending on your organization, you may still pay separately for:

  • State licensing fees
  • License applications
  • License renewals
  • State or NIPR transaction fees
  • Continuing education courses
  • Prelicensing education
  • Exam preparation
  • Other AdjusterPro products or services

AdjusterPro’s licensing and CE courses are purchased separately from License Tracker. However, organizations that bundle licensing, CE, and License Tracker receive an additional 5% off their licensing and CE, up to a maximum discount of 40%. For example, if your organization already receives a 20% volume discount on licensing and CE, adding License Tracker increases that discount to 25% on future licensing and CE purchases.

When you build your licensing and compliance budget, it helps to separate the cost of the software from the cost of licenses, courses, fees, and transactions.

What Is Not Included in AdjusterPro’s License Tracker Today?

License Tracker is a monitoring and compliance tool. It does not currently complete every licensing transaction for your organization.

One important example is license renewal.

License Tracker can help your team monitor licensing and CE information, but the current version does not complete the final license renewal transaction after the required CE has been satisfied.

License Tracker is also not a fully outsourced compliance management service.

Your internal team still manages the licensing process. License Tracker is designed to make the information behind that work easier to monitor and manage.

Is AdjusterPro’s License Tracker Worth the Cost?

Whether License Tracker is worth the cost depends on your circumstances. License Tracker is most likely to be worth the cost when your current tracking process is consuming significant staff time, making compliance issues harder to spot, or costing more than a centralized software solution.

To decide whether that applies to your organization, look at three things.

1. How Much Time Does Your Team Spend Maintaining Licensing Information?

Start by looking at how much staff time your current licensing process requires. For example, a spreadsheet may cost almost nothing to own, but keeping it accurate still takes time.

Ask yourself:

  • How many spreadsheets or systems is your team maintaining?
  • How often are employees checking NIPR or state websites?
  • How much time goes into updating records, checking CE, and following up with employees?
  • How quickly can your team confirm who is ready to work in a particular state?

Add up the hours your team spends on these tasks each month. That gives you a clearer picture of what your current process actually costs and how much you could save by reducing manual work.

2. How Easy Is It to Find a Compliance Problem?

A strong tracking process should make important licensing or appointment gaps easier to identify before they become bigger problems.

Ask yourself:

  • Have you ever discovered a license lapse after it happened?
  • Have you found an adjuster working without a required appointment?
  • Does someone have to manually check several systems before confirming whether an adjuster is ready to work?

If so, License Tracker may help your team spot those issues faster and reduce the time spent checking separate systems.

During beta testing, one organization used License Tracker and found employees who were missing required Florida appointments. That information wasn’t visible in the system they used before License Tracker.

That was an urgent catch. Missing an appointment requirement can create serious compliance problems and added costs.

For example, in a 2024 examination of Heritage Property & Casualty, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation found that 13 of 324 claims reviewed involved adjusters who were not properly appointed or emergency adjusters who began work before receiving the appropriate license. Those findings were among several violations that resulted in a $1 million administrative fine, plus $10,000 in costs.

That does not mean every missed appointment will lead to a penalty of that size, and software will not prevent every compliance issue. But it shows why appointment tracking matters and why a gap that looks administrative can become expensive if it is missed.

No matter how you track licenses today, make sure your process accounts for Florida adjuster appointments. Florida appointment information is not reported through NIPR, so your team needs a separate way to check it.

3. What Are You Paying for the Alternatives?

The right cost comparison is License Tracker versus the total cost and effectiveness of the process you would use instead.

That might include:

  • Internal employee time
  • Another license tracking platform
  • An outsourced licensing or compliance provider
  • A combination of spreadsheets and manual research

If you’re comparing License Tracker with another tracking platform, look at both the price and what’s included. Consider features like Florida appointment tracking, CE progress, and the ability to see which employees are ready to work in a particular state.

Look at which features your organization actually needs, what each solution provides, and how much work your team would still have to manage.

For some organizations, a spreadsheet may be sufficient. Others may benefit from outsourcing more of their licensing work or investing in tracking software.

The best choice is the one that meets your team’s needs at a reasonable overall cost, including the time your employees spend managing the process.

Who Is Most Likely to Get Value From AdjusterPro’s License Tracker?

License Tracker is most likely to provide value for teams that manage enough licenses, states, and compliance information that manual tracking becomes time-consuming or hard to maintain reliably, or you want one vendor for licensing, CE, and License Tracking.

License Tracker is worth a closer look if several of these are true:

  • You manage a large or multistate licensed workforce.
  • Keeping licensing information current requires frequent manual checks.
  • Compliance staff spends significant time maintaining licensing records.
  • Leadership lacks one clear view of workforce licensing status.
  • A license lapse, missing appointment, or other compliance issue has already slipped through.
  • You want better monitoring while continuing to manage licensing internally.

If your current process is accurate, inexpensive, and easy to maintain, you may not need additional software yet.

The goal is not to add technology for its own sake. It is to use a process that gives your team reliable information without requiring more time, cost, or complexity than the work justifies.

How Can You Get an Exact AdjusterPro License Tracker Price?

To get an exact License Tracker price, request a proposal based on the number of tracked users and any additional AdjusterPro services your organization needs.
