Don’t Just Pass the State Exam; Launch your Career!
Obtaining your license is just the first step to becoming a successful insurance adjuster in Louisiana. To truly hit the ground running, you need to master the software, understand construction, and know how to navigate complex policyholder interactions. Our Louisiana Total Adjuster Package was developed to bridge the gap between passing the exam and closing claims. Save almost $300 off individual pricing when you bundle your Exam Prep Course, Xactimate Training, Residential Construction Basics, Soft Skills: The Art of Insurance Adjusting, and our Adjuster Success Method.
Note: After purchase, all of these courses will be available in your personal online classroom. We highly recommend you take them in the order they are listed below. While our Xactimate course is approved for CE in certain states, you must hold a valid license before taking any course you intend to submit for continuing education credit.
1. Louisiana P&C Adjuster: Series 204 Exam Prep Course (40 Hours)
Start your adjuster journey here. Before applying for your Louisiana adjuster license, you’ll need to pass the state’s licensing exam. Our Louisiana Exam Prep Course is designed to help you do just that, while also providing a strong foundational understanding of the insurance adjusting industry.
This online course includes full access to our Smart Pass Toolkit, which features smart quizzes, unlimited practice exams, and exam-readiness reporting, all tailored to help you pass with confidence. We recommend achieving 90% or higher on your practice exams before registering to take the state exam.
2. Residential Construction Basics (4 Hours)
You can’t estimate what you don’t understand. This course covers foundations, different structures and materials, exterior and interior components, and mechanical and electrical systems. We recommend taking this course before you attend your Xactimate class, as it will help you make the most of the software training.
3. Tactical Xactimate Training (3-Night Live Webinar, 12 Hours)
Learn the industry’s most popular software from Xactimate Certified Trainer, Nadine Bisson. By the end of this live training, you’ll be able to write a rock-solid, accurate estimate from start to finish, utilizing the “Sketch” tool. The course will also prepare you to pass Verisk’s Level 1 and 2 Xactimate Certification Exams. (Looks great on your resume!) You can choose your date anytime after purchase – there’s no deadline to decide. Multiple dates are available, with new options added on a regular basis.
4. Soft Skills: The Essential Art of Adjusting (4 Hours)
Technical skills build estimates, but soft skills close claims and keep clients happy. Learn how to communicate effectively, manage expectations, and navigate complex interactions with policyholders to resolve claims smoothly and professionally.
5. The Adjuster Success Method (4 Hours)
Don’t just get a license, set yourself up for a successful career. Veteran adjusters share best practices for getting hired, what tools you’ll need to get the job done, and explain what to expect and how to successfully close your first claims in this one-of-a-kind training course.
If you’re serious about becoming a successful insurance adjuster, look no further. Our award-winning support team of real people will be available at every step to answer questions or provide help when you need it.

I would love to see more exam prep questions for Personal Auto Policy and the NC lessons structured as a video like the other sections.

The test is not up to date. The questions are stated in a deceiving way. The test is straightforward and easy to understand. Why are the course materials confusing? i learned more by taking screenshots and putting them into AI. Not only did AI explain the answers clearly, they gave follow up questions that made sense and weren’t meant to trick you.

I really liked the class, there is a lot of good information in it and I learned many new things. The only downside to it is that not every student is at the same level, so it went really slow at times. I think there should be a divide between the L1 certifying and L2 certifying students. Some students were really having a hard time, so everyone had to wait until their problems were addressed. There was a lot of down time while we waited. Other than that, I loved the class. Nadine is very informative, helpful, and very patient. Great class!

There were some errors in the lessons. Audio didn’t translate the write word.
I didn’t like how 4 Chapter Sections were only a PDF.
I like the software used to learn. I love the study bank. It’s a really great learning platform.
Also some of the voices for the instructors were annoying. I would just stick to one voice and not several.

The course makes it really easy to get a working understanding of the curriculum.

To better prepare students, I suggest incorporating more structural variety into the scenario-based questions. Often, a test-taker understands the material perfectly, but gets the question wrong on the exam simply because they are caught off guard by a completely different phrasing or format.

I took the Pre Exam many times before taking the exam, at the end none of the questions in the pre-exam were in the real exam.

I have an AIC…I might have passed the test just going straight there and taking it, but this was good for a refresher. It won’t help sell courses, but it was only $40 to take the exam…and I might have bought back some hours. The sad thing is I don’t need any of it except residential for adjusting…but it did deepen my knowledge, and was interactive, and useful.
