Don’t Just Pass the State Exam; Launch your Career!
Obtaining your license is just the first step to becoming a successful insurance adjuster in Mississippi. To truly hit the ground running, you need to know the software, understand construction, and navigate complex policyholder interactions. Our Mississippi Total Adjuster Package was developed to bridge the gap between passing the exam and closing claims. Save almost $250 off individual pricing when you bundle your Mississippi Pre-Licensing Course, Xactimate Training, Residential Construction Basics, Soft Skills: The Art of Insurance Adjusting, and our Adjuster Success Method.
Note: After purchase, all of these courses will be available in your personal online classroom. We highly recommend you take them in the order they are listed below. While our Xactimate course is approved for CE in certain states, you must hold a valid license before taking any course you intend to submit for continuing education credit.
1. Mississippi Insurance Adjuster Pre-Licensing Course (20 Hours)
Mississippi adjuster candidates must take an approved pre-licensing course before they can register to take the state exam. Our Mississippi P&C Adjuster Pre-licensing Course not only satisfies the state’s requirement, but it was also designed to help you pass the state exam – fast, confidently, and on the first try. Includes our Smart Pass Toolkit with customizable study tools, unlimited practice exams, and exam readiness reporting.
2. Residential Construction Basics (4 Hours)
You can’t estimate what you don’t understand. This course covers foundations, different structures and materials, exterior and interior components, and mechanical and electrical systems. We recommend taking this course before you attend your Xactimate class, as it will help you make the most of the software training.
3. Tactical Xactimate Training (3-Night Live Webinar, 12 Hours)
Learn the industry’s most popular software from Xactimate Certified Trainer, Nadine Bisson. By the end of this live training, you’ll be able to write a rock-solid, accurate estimate from start to finish, utilizing the “Sketch” tool. The course will also prepare you to pass Verisk’s Level 1 and 2 Xactimate Certification Exams. (Looks great on your resume!) You can choose your date anytime after purchase – there’s no deadline to decide. Multiple dates are available, with new options added on a regular basis.
4. Soft Skills: The Essential Art of Adjusting (4 Hours)
Technical skills build estimates, but soft skills close claims and keep clients happy. Learn how to communicate effectively, manage expectations, and navigate complex interactions with policyholders to resolve claims smoothly and professionally.
5. The Adjuster Success Method (4 Hours)
Don’t just get a license, set yourself up for a successful career. Veteran adjusters share best practices for getting hired, what tools you’ll need to get the job done, and explain what to expect and how to successfully close your first claims in this one-of-a-kind training course.
If you’re serious about becoming a successful insurance adjuster, look no further. Our award-winning support team of real people will be available at every step to answer questions or provide help when you need it.

The course covers a wide range of topics, which helped me understand the overall structure of insurance. However some sections felt repetitive. Also ,more scenario based explanations and example and questions would make the concept easier to understand .

I really enjoyed this course. Nugget does a great of making it fun and interesting at the same time. I have work with-in a maintenance department for many years and have managed the maintenance and construction parts for that maintenance group for almost 20 years. In addition, I have done personal remodeling that has included, replacing doors, windows, roofing, freshwater pipes, electrical, drywall and wood trim in addition to a complete Kitchen and bath demolition and remodel down to and including the insulation. Being new to the adjusting industry and not yet understanding what Xactimate will do to easy the estimating process, it was a little overwhelming to think about the regional building codes that I am not familiar with and how long this estimating process can take. I did like that you talked about the consideration of creating a Standard Building Code training, but maybe adding more about what Xactimate helps with may ease some of that anxiety. Otherwise, a great launching point!

It does not explain the content in detail. It should quiz you in between content to see if your understanding the course.

Some of the questions don’t provide satisfactory information to answer successfully. Also, the sections that are long unbroke text rather than slides are hard to get through and retain.

Very helpful and intuitive. All subjects were compartmentalized into easy-to-understand bits of information. There was a wealth of information.

The course itself was great, I liked the format and think it was taught in a very professional and educational manner. Reminded me of some college courses. However, I think it took longer than the suggested 40 hours. Which is fine, this is quite a bit of information. Thank you.

Course was very thorough and informative. I will say the course quizzes, chapter quizzes, and the practice final exam seemed to be much more difficult than the actual final exam.

The instructor is nice and patient. I have never had any experience with Xactimate, on any level…so truthfully speaking, I could’ve probably benefited from a 5 day course.

It was a lot of information to take in. Once I took the final test, there was a lot of information I didn’t remember going over. I wish I could go back and review my incorrect answers to the final test.
