Description
Don’t Just Pass the State Exam; Launch your Career!
Obtaining your license is just the first step to becoming a successful insurance adjuster in South Carolina. To truly hit the ground running, you need to master the software, understand construction, and know how to navigate complex policyholder interactions. Our South Carolina Total Adjuster Package was developed to bridge the gap between passing the exam and closing claims. Save almost $300 off individual pricing when you bundle your Exam Prep Course, Xactimate Training, Residential Construction Basics, Soft Skills: The Art of Insurance Adjusting, and our Adjuster Success Method.
Note: After purchase, all of these courses will be available in your personal online classroom. We highly recommend you take them in the order they are listed below. While our Xactimate course is approved for CE in certain states, you must hold a valid license before taking any course you intend to submit for continuing education credit.
1. South Carolina Property, Casualty, Surety, and Marine Adjuster Exam Prep Course (40 Hours)
Start your adjuster journey here. Before applying for your South Carolina adjuster license, you’ll need to pass the state’s licensing exam. Our SC Exam Prep Course is designed to help you do just that, while also providing a strong foundational understanding of the insurance adjusting industry.
This online course includes full access to our Smart Pass Toolkit, which features smart quizzes, unlimited practice exams, and exam-readiness reporting, all tailored to help you pass with confidence. We recommend achieving 90% or higher on your practice exams before registering to take the state exam.
2. Residential Construction Basics (4 Hours)
You can’t estimate what you don’t understand. This course covers foundations, different structures and materials, exterior and interior components, and mechanical and electrical systems. We recommend taking this course before you attend your Xactimate class, as it will help you make the most of the software training.
3. Tactical Xactimate Training (3-Night Live Webinar, 12 Hours)
Learn the industry’s most popular software from Xactimate Certified Trainer, Nadine Bisson. By the end of this live training, you’ll be able to write a rock-solid, accurate estimate from start to finish, utilizing the “Sketch” tool. The course will also prepare you to pass Verisk’s Level 1 and 2 Xactimate Certification Exams. (Looks great on your resume!) You can choose your date anytime after purchase – there’s no deadline to decide. Multiple dates are available, with new options added on a regular basis.
4. Soft Skills: The Essential Art of Adjusting (4 Hours)
Technical skills build estimates, but soft skills close claims and keep clients happy. Learn how to communicate effectively, manage expectations, and navigate complex interactions with policyholders to resolve claims smoothly and professionally.
5. The Adjuster Success Method (4 Hours)
Don’t just get a license, set yourself up for a successful career. Veteran adjusters share best practices for getting hired, what tools you’ll need to get the job done, and explain what to expect and how to successfully close your first claims in this one-of-a-kind training course.
If you’re serious about becoming a successful insurance adjuster, look no further. Our award-winning support team of real people will be available at every step to answer questions or provide help when you need it.

Make recordings for state specific items or at least make slides. If I learned well from the format these sections were in, I could have passed a long time ago with a free book.

The course was very informative on all aspects of all kinds of insurance and I think I learned a lot. I wish that the study materials and the testing were more based on the specific area we will be working on in the real world but I get how it makes sense to understand the terminology and the basics to get a grasp on the entire subject. So, overall, after finishing this course several times, I’m pretty sure I’ve got a good foundation to begin my new career.

Have more study options for the state specific areas at the end of the course, like there are in the rest of the course. This left a lot of information just thrown into one screen with no notecards or learning tools for it, and a lot of this is on the exam.

Adjuster Pro was not helpful in my preparation for the state exam. The only reason I passed the second exam is because I used Quizlet to study rather than reviewing the info learned in this course.

This course was very helpful… I believe it helped me learn at least the basic vocabulary etc., however, no one ever got back to me about the questions i had about the review flash cards, so I wasn’t able to utilize those as much as I would have liked. Also… there were MULTIPLE questions on the actual exam that I just had to throw my hands up at because I had NO IDEA what they were even referring to. BUT. Would I recommend this course to someone else? Yep. I would. I mean… I took the practice exam on this course three times– I got an 81, then an 83, and finally, the night before my exam I tried it again and got an 89. And then a 91 on the actual exam. So that’s… pretty awesome. But also, I went through the entire course twice, and HO, DP, Farm and all commercial policies four times each so… but I also prayed and had many others praying for me as well. Which is why I passed.

Well explained with real facts but the slideshows would freeze at times or mute when I paused to take notes etc, having to refresh the page and log in again to be able to gee the sound working.
