Xactimate Mobile is an estimating app used to build estimates and estimate repair costs onsite. It works harmoniously with Xactimate’s online and desktop platforms and is compatible with Android and Apple devices.

Both Xactimate and Xactimate Mobile are software solutions used for estimating insurance claims and damage repair costs. Xactimate is primarily used on a desktop or laptop computer, while Xactimate Mobile is an app designed for smartphones and tablets. 

While both platforms allow users to create estimates, Xactimate Mobile is optimized for use on-site at an inspection. The app allows you to take photos, sketch rooms using the device’s camera, and record measurements while on the property. 

Xactimate Mobile provides the ability to access and manage estimates while physically at a damage site, whereas Xactimate is typically used to finalize and review estimates in an office setting.

There are a few things you’ll need to set up prior to starting your Xactimate Mobile course. Detailed instructions on how to complete everything are included in your course. We recommend you have intermediate-level knowledge of Xactimate and/or that you have used Xactimate to adjust 50+ claims before taking the Mobile webinar.

Requirements:

• Subscription for Xactimate or access to the Xactimate Training Instance. If you do not have a subscription, AdjusterPro will provide access to the software through our private training instance.
• Xactimate Mobile app on your preferred mobile device – Xactimate Mobile System Requirements
• Zoom on your desktop or laptop.

The webinar itself takes place on Zoom, but you’ll need the mobile app to follow along and complete tasks during class.

If you’re interested in learning Xactimate Mobile, we recommend having a strong foundation/intermediate-level knowledge of Xactimate (estimating 50+ claims) before investing in the mobile course. 

Our training focuses on performing certain tasks within the app itself. It does not cover the basics of operating the software. If you’re not yet familiar with Xactimate, we recommend starting with our Tactical Xactimate Course and then moving to the Xactimate Mobile training once you are proficient in the desktop version.

You’ll also be able to ask questions live through the Zoom chat. Throughout your course, he will answer your questions and take time to make sure that you’re comfortable with the material. 

Our live webinar uses Zoom, a program that allows you to hear the instructor and view their screen as they perform tasks in Xactimate Mobile using their mobile device. As a student, you will follow along and perform the same tasks using the Xactimate Mobile app downloaded on your mobile device. You will need either a subscription to Xactimate or access to our private Xactimate Training Instance. Instructions and details on how to access the training instance are included in your course. 

You can ask questions live through the Zoom chat. Our trainer, Julian, will make sure to address all questions by the end of the session.
