Description
Becoming a public adjuster in Florida involves more than passing an exam. Before you can obtain a Florida 3-20 All-Lines Public Adjuster license, you generally need to first qualify for a Florida 6-20 All-Lines Adjuster license and complete at least six months under a qualifying adjuster appointment.
That makes Florida’s process a little different from public adjuster licensing in many other states. Make you understand the requirements and process before moving forward.
Don’t Just Pass the State Exam; Launch your Career!
Obtaining your license is just the first step to becoming a successful insurance adjuster in Florida. To truly hit the ground running, you need to know the software, understand construction, and navigate complex policyholder interactions. Our Florida Total Adjuster Package was developed to bridge the gap between passing the exam and closing claims. Save almost $250 off individual pricing when you bundle your Florida Pre-Certified Licensing Course + Exam, Xactimate Training, Residential Construction Basics, Soft Skills: The Art of Insurance Adjusting, and our Adjuster Success Method.
Note: After purchase, all of these courses will be available in your personal online classroom. We highly recommend you take them in the order they are listed below. While our Xactimate course is approved for CE in certain states, you must hold a valid license before taking any course you intend to submit for continuing education credit.
1. Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing Course + State Licensing Exam (42 Hours)
Our Certified Adjuster Pre-licensing Course with State Exam is the fastest and simplest way to get your Florida 6-20 adjuster license, the first step to becoming a public adjuster. Florida candidates must take an approved pre-licensing course and pass an exam before applying for their license – and you can do it 100% online with AdjusterPro. Our Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-licensing Course satisfies both requirements. Once you complete the course and pass the included exam, you can apply for your license.
This online course includes full access to our Smart Pass Toolkit, which features smart quizzes, unlimited practice exams, and exam-readiness reporting, all tailored to help you pass with confidence. We recommend achieving 90% or higher on your practice exams before taking the state exam.

Learn the industry’s most popular software from Xactimate Certified Trainer, Nadine Bisson. By the end of this live training, you’ll be able to write a rock-solid, accurate estimate from start to finish, utilizing the “Sketch” tool. The course will also prepare you to pass Verisk’s Level 1 and 2 Xactimate Certification Exams. (Looks great on your resume!) You can choose your date anytime after purchase – there’s no deadline to decide. Multiple dates are available, with new options added on a regular basis.
4. Soft Skills: The Essential Art of Adjusting (4 Hours)

It was a challenging course. A lot of information and very comprehensive. However, the material was easy to follow. There was a way to print off documents so I could follow along with readings. Also every so often the voices would change which was kind of pleasant. I enjoyed the course. I learned a lot and I will recommend this course to anyone I speak with who is interested in getting their adjuster’s license.

I liked the study suggestions and practice exam, found a lot of the “negative” questions to be confusing though, “not”, “except” etc…

The final exam was a bit different from the practice tests. I am going to practice more. A few of the questions I do not remember reading in the material but overall the course was very thorough. I don’t yet feel ready to take my state test though.

I feel the course was essential in my receiving a passing grade. If I had to study a manual to obtain this license, I fear the outcome would have been in jeopardy.
