Description
If you’re interested in becoming a public adjuster in Florida, it’s important to understand the licensing process, as it differs slightly from the standard licensing procedures. You can review the entire process below, or read our How to Become a Florida Public Adjuster blog for more details.
Our Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing Course fulfills the first step in becoming a public adjuster: getting your Florida 6-20 license.
Florida adjusters must take an approved 40-hour pre-licensing course and pass the state’s insurance adjuster exam to get their license. Once you complete our course and pass the included exam, you are qualified to apply for your Florida 6-20 license. No additional testing or coursework is required. After fulfilling the additional public adjuster requirements, you can then move on to getting your 3-20 license.
Your course includes:
- Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing (Course #96558)
- Florida Adjuster Exam
- AdjusterPro Smart Pass Toolkit
– Smart Quizzes (Target Weak Spots)
– Unlimited Practice Exams (Go In Fully Prepared)
– Performance Dashboard (Track Progress)
– Exam Readiness Reporting (Identify Strengths & Weaknesses)
– Flexible Study Tools (Learn Your Way)
– Lifetime Access (No Completion Deadline)
Our course is 100% online and self-paced, so you can study on demand via your computer or mobile device. The content in this course was curated based on the topics listed in the state exam outline to ensure you have the most current and accurate information you need to pass. You’ll get unlimited access to the learning modules and practice exams, so take as long as you need. Your course access will not expire. We recommend you spend enough time on the course to consistently achieve a 90% or higher on all the quizzes and practice exams before taking the state adjuster exam.
We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you’ll enjoy our course. It’s easy to navigate, covers a wide range of topics, offers quizzes after each module to test your knowledge in real time, and even has a few corny jokes thrown in to keep you on your toes. Our classroom features were designed to help you truly understand, learn, and retain the material so you’re ready to ace that state exam!

Nadine is an amazing instructor and extremely patient. The Xactimate program is fairly intuitive if you know anything about computers, but she was able to show multiple ways of completing some of the tasks. My only bad thing, which you have no control over, were some of the other students. One would leave the class and then come back and expect Nadine to stop and catch them up. There were a few others that extremely slowed down the pace of the class. All in all, I would definitely recommend the class. Major props to Nadine, I would attend any class she teaches!

Very straight forward and easy to understand. This definitely put things in perspective and helped me understand more about this career. After I took my test and obtained my license, I still felt a little lost on how to proceed. This helped and has gotten me excited about changing my career.

Great course, I think some of the questions to check for knowledge should be rephrased as they can be confusing such as the question about hardwood floors. the question should specify if it is asking about solid or engineered. This is pertinent information to be able to correctly answer. Also, some information should be corrected. Overall a good course but could use some light tweaking
