Description
If you’re interested in becoming a public adjuster in Florida, it’s important to understand the licensing process, as it differs slightly from the standard licensing procedures. You can review the entire process below, or read our How to Become a Florida Public Adjuster blog for more details.
Our Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing Course fulfills the first step in becoming a public adjuster: getting your Florida 6-20 license.
Florida adjusters must take an approved 40-hour pre-licensing course and pass the state’s insurance adjuster exam to get their license. Once you complete our course and pass the included exam, you are qualified to apply for your Florida 6-20 license. No additional testing or coursework is required. After fulfilling the additional public adjuster requirements, you can then move on to getting your 3-20 license.
Your course includes:
- Florida Certified Adjuster Pre-Licensing (Course #96558)
- Florida Adjuster Exam
- AdjusterPro Smart Pass Toolkit
– Smart Quizzes (Target Weak Spots)
– Unlimited Practice Exams (Go In Fully Prepared)
– Performance Dashboard (Track Progress)
– Exam Readiness Reporting (Identify Strengths & Weaknesses)
– Flexible Study Tools (Learn Your Way)
– Lifetime Access (No Completion Deadline)
Our course is 100% online and self-paced, so you can study on demand via your computer or mobile device. The content in this course was curated based on the topics listed in the state exam outline to ensure you have the most current and accurate information you need to pass. You’ll get unlimited access to the learning modules and practice exams, so take as long as you need. Your course access will not expire. We recommend you spend enough time on the course to consistently achieve a 90% or higher on all the quizzes and practice exams before taking the state adjuster exam.
We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you’ll enjoy our course. It’s easy to navigate, covers a wide range of topics, offers quizzes after each module to test your knowledge in real time, and even has a few corny jokes thrown in to keep you on your toes. Our classroom features were designed to help you truly understand, learn, and retain the material so you’re ready to ace that state exam!

I wish the flashcard session had the opportunity to move by themselves vs having to hit the button each time.

This was the best way for me to learn and prepare me I did use all options to study. Listening and then going back to read over the information made it more understandable. Take all quizzes and make sure you make a 80% and above. Don’t move on till you are all in the green and then you should do just fine

– Bigger pools of questions — I got to the point where I was remembering the answers.
– When you click Finish on the final exam, it should give you a warning that you’re about to submit it, even if all questions are answered. I wasn’t watching the question number and clicked the next button to quickly move on. I believe I pressed the finish button and it submitted the exam without giving me a chance to verify or review my answers. Luckily, I still passed.
– Real people teaching the material instead of slideshow PDFs
– A dedicated math section covering limits and payouts, such as how much the fire department pays out, trees and shrubs coverage, pro rata basis, and coinsurance calculations.

I would have liked the course more if the videos were longer instead of broken up into more pieces or launched inside an app. I did most of it on mobile browser and timed-out often.
